About Me

If you want to know about me, you have to know about my family.  Anyone who knows me at all knows that the best parts of me come out when I’m surrounded by the people that I love.  So, let me take a moment to introduce you!

Family is the most important thing to me.  I’m an educator, a leader, a professional.  But, most importantly, I’m a wife, a mom, and a Grammy!  So, to really know me, you need to know my family.

A little over eleven years ago, my husband and I blended our families together as one.  We have four children, two boys and two girls, and five wonderful grandchildren.  As you can see from our pictures, we bring diversity and adventure together.

After the sudden and devastating death of our 33 year old son, Andy, in 2017, we have learned to both embrace and document the times we have together.  When pictures are all you have left, you always wish you had more.  So, I tend to have/publish “too many” pictures, and for that I will not apologize.

We have five amazing grandchildren who light up our lives!  Katelyn, Ethan, Allie, Lily, and Robert.  You might as well get to know them because you’ll hear about them often.
